Round 30: Icon Remake

This challenge is pretty straightforward, you have to pick some of your old icons and try a different spin on them. Have fun! :)

1. Sign ups will be open to the end of this round, which will be the August 7th
2. You don't have to sign up, but some people enjoy the challenge of sticking to their theme
3. Post your icons either in your graphics comm or a post at this community. If you post at your graphics comm, make a post here also and link to your comm with 3 icons as an example.
4. Please now use the template! It would make it easier for me to post voting. (you only need to paste your links in and remove the one space here -> </ textarea>)

I had a different idea, but picking up examples was a pain in the ass, so I went with the first thing that came up to my mind :D

Oh I hear you so much!

On my comm, finding a theme is easy, one run in the randomizer, done. But finding a measly four examples regularly takes me an hour or two. /o\

Does this mean opening the file of the old icon and trying to improve on that image, or opening the screencap(s) used in the original icon and trying to improve/reconceive the old icon? If it's the latter, I'm interested. Please, let me know which it is, so I know whether or not to participate. Thanks!

It's the latter, take the old screencap and make entirely new icon with it. If it's trouble to find exactly the same screencap, you can use similar or just the same character :)

Yeah, I've been looking through my old icon posts and I don't know where to start, I want to remake everything :D

It's going to be great seeing everyone's remakes, :D It's a great theme!

So far, I find myself going for icons that aren't as bad as others but that I immediately recognize a couple of things I could do much better in them. That's also because I can't bear looking at the old ones for too long lol And I haven't even tapped into the truly old and likely worse icons from my previous LJ life :D (10+ years ago)...
