HARD: pick a "Gold" theme and stick to it: it can be a word theme, a palette, a character, a graphical style, or anything else that you associate with the theme "Gold". It doesn't have to be one of the provided inspirational materials. The only condition is that all 10 icons fit that one single theme.

So the icons don't have to be golden or in the vicinity of that color? Like, if I decide to icon gymnasts because you know, "going for gold," that would count? (Not that I'm doing that, but it's a thought.)

No, the icons don't have to be golden in color! Anything that inspires you about the theme is fair game!

I tried metallic textures, but i was so busy this month that i only managed two. :( Unlikely that I'll come up with 8 more in 6 days.

to be honest i'll be unlikely to post the next challenge until (my)Saturday, so maybe extend until the 14-15th? I have made 4 icons so far!
