 Hi, all! I've been extremely busy with some RL things and am not able to give much time to most of the comms on DW. If anyone is willing to run the next round, you are so very welcome! 

Also, it would be great if anyone left ideas in the comments.

Sadly, I'm going through some real life stuff that makes it hard to dedicate time to running things, too. As for suggestions, you mean for themes? I hope things clear up soon for you!

Some ideas I've found in other communities over the years that might be fun!

• Complex
• Provided textures
• Provided textures & fonts

• Crops (Extreme crop, Obscure crop, Far Crop, ect)
• Negative Space
• Decorative texture
• Rotate
• Magic
• Duplication
• Vibrant coloring
• Black & White
• Grunge
• Neons
• Provided Coloring
• Double Crop - Your icon has to contain two kinds of crop, ie. close crop + far away, faceless + eyes only, etc.
• Crowdy Background - The background has to be 'messed up', it has to be doing something there.
• Out Of The Box - Your subject has to go out from the border/frame inside the icon (as I couldn't find any better examples, I think you know what I meant)
• HALF-HALF - Your icon has to have two sections: the 'main picture' and the texture/other not-main-picture one. And they need to be (exactly or approximately) 50x100px and 50x100px.
• Multiple Blending - In this task, you need to add at least 3 different caps in one icon, which is different from the last round where you had to duplicate the base.
• Personification Of A Character - You have to add textures/text/coloring, etc to personificate the character. If you are using non-decorative textures/coloring, please explain your choice, please.
• Extra Far Crop + Modified Background - You need to erase the background and addjust clear tetxure at the back and make the character to be far away (the best would be full body in the icon).
• PURPLE Purple + In Profile + Cheek Text - Text must be places at character's cheek, or near it.
• Unnatural Colors - You must try here with textures, channel mixer or maybe hue/saturation tools to achive unnatural coloring of the skin, clothes, etc.
• Glowy Look - You must use many light textures to make the 'glowy look', like the flying wind.
• Obscure Vibrant Crop - The coloring must be vibrant and at the same time the crop must be obscured.
• Massive Blocking - There must be used AT LEAST 3 different caps in the icon, with various composition that looks icon if full.
• Mad Text - The text has to represent the furious mood in the icon, any brushed fonts are welcome.
• Less is More - You have to make icon the simpliest you can get, without any redundant textures, accesories, coloring.
• Sandman - Icons need to me low contrasted, have this dark dirty beige color and needs to be minimalistic, the best it would be to have some light grunge textures!

I'll post the vibrant coloring idea next month (June). That's something I can make a simple-but-appropriate banner for, as well as find appropriate samples for in time. (I see them everywhere!)

Yep, already got all the graphics ready because this week is going to be very busy.

My Ideas:
--Parent and Child (some parent/child relationships in your fandom of choice, whether they're happy or not so happy)
--Peace (whatever form it takes in your mind--staring in your lover's eyes, creating art, sniffing a flower, napping/sleeping, prayer/meditation, shaking hands with a former enemy, etc. no wrong interpretations)
--Coffee, Tea, or Me? (show your favorite characters drinking their beverages of choice--preferably in their fandom's gathering spot for doing so, like a bar or clubhouse or pub) Examples: Ten Forward in Star Trek TNG, Quark's in Star Trek DS9, Cheers in Cheers, Central Perk in Friends, Jake's Saloon in Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman.
--Not Human (feature something in your icon other than a human that is also part of the fandom. remember: no stock, please!)
