I just looove how chocolatey the 6th icon looks. The 7th one too-what amazing colours! I love the big text in 7 & 8 along with the colours. *drool*
5 is so soft and pretty. I like 1 and 9 too. The last icon-very funfetti-ish,love that! Your icon colouring in 2,6,7 & 8 gives me so much nostalgia of the older iconing days!

I was showing them to my friend as I made them and she said this challenge was making her hungry, lol
I think 7 is my personal favorite, the last one was a nightmare, nothing was working for a while until I settled on the final look. Growing to like it!

It's not too hard to get those effects, depending on what you use to make your icons.

Welcome! I bet. It's pretty and the fonts is amazing.

I unfortunately use Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, so limited on font options. I tried GIMP even with tutorials and still fail at that program.

Ah, that's too bad. I don't know if techniques translate well from one program to the other. A lot of the things I do in Photoshop probably do translate well to GIMP, but I haven't used that one in a long time to check.
