Round 46: All about us-Collection Post

Hey guys, here's the first part of Round 46. For this round we will do things differently. Let us know what inspires YOU to create icons- be it textures, techniques,words,palettes, music videos, character, celebrity, screencaps, seasons, colours, icons made by others, a specific maker, moods etc.

All you have to do is write down whatever inspires you (preferably along with links or thumbnails of your inspo) in the comments below. There is no limit but if you're struggling, 5 things are a good number. :)

Once done, I will round up all the inspiration materials and put up the inspo post.

You may provide inspiration but it does not compel you to participate, so even if you don't have time to participate, we would love to know and have what inspires you to make icons in our inspo post.

Anybody who wants to participate in this round will create 10-20 icons, based on the inspo post. Yes, I'm keeping the option of being able to make more than 10 icons for this round. :)

Sorry to be spamming this post with non-inspo things...

How much time do we have for assembling our inspo materials?

I'm not sure,I was thinking until I get things from at least 5-6 people, so I haven't kept a deadline, but if we don't get anything within 3-4 days(so we get to the new month),I'll have to think of some other way,lol.

Okay! I definitely want to participate, but it might take me a while.

Screencaps inspire me, I usually have a look through

capspiration and I can usually find something interesting.
Textures inspire me, I have been experimenting with this set recently.
Also pretty stock photography, love Unsplash it has lots of royalty free images.

I'm not sure if you are looking for something more specific, but those are the first ones that come to mind.

This is a great idea for a challenge round! Here are some things that inspire me:

color palettes:

Paint textures:

Techniques (basically just listing my faves from this month's somein30): recoloring, full body, text as decoration, framed by an image, circles, paint splatters, center text on top, texture overlap

I think I'll just leave it at that for now, because those are already so many! O_O

I feel like people get enough of my challenge prompts already around here. What they probably need is a break from me. 😄 But, I could give you a few things if you still need some. Do you want music videos/songs via Youtube? For palettes, do you want palettes from Colourlovers only?

I would love to love to participate in this challenge!

Things that inspire me are screencaps from my favorite shows or random shows, pictures of my favorite celebs, textures, random words and different cropping.

I hope it's not too late to put what inspires us. Do you want to me to post pictures and/or screencaps?
