Hello,everybody! Welcome to Round 37. This is an inspirational challenge.
IMPORTANT: Since this is a fandom community, please icon fandoms only. You can incorporate stock into the icons but it must be primarily a fandom centered icon.If you have any questions,please ask below. :)

THEME
This month we are taking inspiration from 10 book covers. You can create icons based on one cover, a few or all 10! Whether it is by using a similar font, style, image, colours or the content of the book etc.-everything is fair game BUT please note that the book covers themselves cannot be cropped into icons. Use one book cover as inspo per icon ie. do not combine two different covers into one icon.

2. You don't have to sign up, but some people enjoy the challenge of sticking to their theme

It looks super fun, but I'm trying to read all the books about the upcoming Netflix show Shadow And Bone before April 23, so I probably won't have enough time after that. Or, I'll be too busy fangirling about the episodes, we'll see. So I guess I half-sign up? lol

I love Ben Barnes since Narnia, I think he was fantastic in Dorian Grey and Westworld, and I just watched The Punisher only for him, but I've never made icons of him before. I know for sure that I will make icons for Shadow and Bone. He looks so good in black! *drools*

I'm listening to the audiobook for book 1 now. I'm not going to make it to all the books, but I think at least I'm gonna get one in. I'm looking forward to the show!

I finished the first 3 books last night, and instead of moving on to the Duology Six of Crows to read them in order, I'm reading a bonus short story called "The Demon In The Woods" because if focus on his character, while he was young. I can upload the ebook for you if you want it. (or all the ebooks ont this series that I have, all in English, because I plan to watch the show in English to hear his beautiful voice, send me an MP if you want any of them)

I'm sooo looking forward to the show too, the problem with the books is that it is from the PoV of Alina, so we barely know what the Darkling is doing when she is not around him, so the show should be better, in my opinion.

Oh, SOooooo... I'm gathering that the excitement is over one of the actors? (I just know someone on my flist said the books were good and that they were going to be adapted - then saw something about it coming to Netflix soon).

Boy do I feel out of the loop, but I at least I can see the loop from here? LOL

And thank you, the series is available to me via library app here so I have access. I don't know if I have time to get beyond book 1 before it airs anyway.

It looks like it'll be a pretty show and there could be a lot of icon opportunities though. I'm excited for that!

Yeah, I'm mostly exited for Ben Barnes, that will play one of the main character. In the book the name is the Darkling, but on the show it will be General Kirigan.

If you haven't seen the trailer for the show, you can watch it here on Netflix YouTube channel. Ben Barnes is the one wearing black clothes, you might have seen him in other shows or movies. (Narnia, Dorian Gray, Westworld, etc) I think he is fantastic in everything he does.
