Round 33: Foreign Affairs

Hello,everyone! For this round nondenomifan is busy so I'll be modding this session.If anyone wants to pitch in as co-mod for putting up reminders & such,feel free to comment here and let me know. :)

THEME

You might have guessed from the name that this round will focus on Non-English movies,shows,games etc. Meaning, that the original language of the show should not be English. Some examples are Sailor Moon(Japanese),Dark(German), Money Heist(Spanish), Sacred Games(Indian) and so on. However, if you don't want to icon Non-English media, then use the given palettes and/or fonts to inspire you to icon English media.

You are allowed to mix and match for this challenge, so there's no set rule that all 10 icons must be Foreign or English. If you have any questions, feel free to ask below.

There are fonts,colour palettes and icons under the cut to inspire you.

1. Sign ups will be open to the end of this round, which will be the 30th November,2020.
2. You don't have to sign up, but some people enjoy the challenge of sticking to their theme
3. Post your icons either in your graphics comm or a post at this community. If you post at your graphics comm, make a post here also and link to your comm with 3 icons as preview.
4. Please use the template when posting in the comm. It would make it easier for me to post voting. (you only need to paste your links in and remove the one space here -> </ textarea>)

May I do a show that takes place in Wales or England, as I'm in the USA? We have to wait until those shows come on BBC-America, after all.

Hey,no worries.You can use any shows/movies as long as the language itself isn't mainly English.And if it is in English,then just use the colour palettes or foreign text textures or the fonts in the post. :)

I just realized: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Duh! A lot of that movie is in China (Willie sings "Anything Goes" in Chinese during the intro, for Pete's sake) and India. Both on-location shoots had ESL actors. I'll do that film!

Snagged the phrases, "Hang on, we're going for a ride," and, "He's crazy!" in Traditional Shanghaian Chinese from Microsoft Translator, as well as "Salutations," in Sanskrit. We're cool! I'm feeling quite a bit better, but I'm still weak. Whatever this is, it sure holds on for a long time!
