I don't know how she feels, but I even restricted myself to people who were LGBT+ in real life. All it takes is typing "celebrities who are out and proud" into your search engine. One I learned was not whom I thought was: the former lead singer of Silverchair (Daniel "Paul" Johns). He sang the wonderful song "Straight Lines," which was basically about the frustration of conforming to society's sexual norms, but he then was forced to proclaim to the world that he wasn't gay.
It's really sad that sexuality labels matter so much, isn't it? I hope one day we can move beyond gender, culture, race, age, disability, and status and just accept that we all require the same oxygen, water, and basic nutrients to function.
