Hey guys!I'm a bit overwhelmed with things so for December, if anyone is willing to conduct a challenge,please go ahead.Otherwise we'll just let the comm be on hiatus for this month and return in January next year.

A break is a much-needed thing for me. I actually had to throw in the towel as editor of The Sunnydale Herald, myself, because my insurance company continues to refuse to pay for my mental health care during this horrible year!

On a positive note, I did not have COVID and am feeling myself again; and my mom, sister, and I spent a mostly fun week together. (My sister did get bossy at times, and Mom and I are very concerned that she has chosen to follow a "new" diet that sounds exactly like the Atkins/South Beach Diet, which even Dr. Oz [a sensationalist TV cardiologist] says is bad for heart and diabetes patients, and Dr. Atkins should be ashamed for prescribing it to his heart and diabetes patients. Plus, she's judging the fact that she needs to lose weight by the number on the scale, not her overall health, energy level, girth, doctor's recommendation, etc. Mom and I are morbidly obese. My sister is what today's doctors consider "within reasonable weight range for height." She's judging her appropriate weight by the old ranges, which also concerns me.)

I sincerely hope you and your loved ones are healthy and at peace this holiday season. As the truck drivers in the USA used to say to each other over the CB-band radio (boy, did I just date myself!), "Merry Merry, and Happy Happy!" :)
